We are excited to share the latest news on the IASE 2023 Satellite Conference.
Program: The presentation & poster proposal review process is now complete, and notifications have been sent out to all authors. We have a line-up of more than 40 presentations and 35 posters, spanning a range of topics at the forefront of the conference theme of Fostering Learning of Statistics and Data Science. We are also proud to announce three exciting keynote speakers: Chris Wild, Shingai Manjengwa, and Jürgen Symanzik, who will offer their insights on the theme, as well as a panel of educators sharing ways in which Learning Science informs their practice in Statistics and Data Science classes. You can find our keynote bios at the conference Program page, which we will be updating regularly as the program takes shape.
Registration: Registration for the conference is now open! This is the first ever hybrid IASE Satellite conference, offering the option to attend either in-person or online. Please consult the conference Registration page for details on ticket types, associated fees, and policies before you register. To encourage participation of underrepresented groups, the conference offers affordable online tickets to students, teachers, retirees, and persons from developing countries, as well as potential registration support for the latter. Registration can be purchased through the conference’s online platform, using a variety of payment methods. We encourage you to register by 30 April 2023, to take advantage of the early bird fees.
