The King Baudouin Foundation has revealed the winners of the second Rousseeuw Prize for Statistics, awarding $1 million to outstanding statistical research with real-world impact. This year's focus is on the False Discovery Rate (FDR) and methods to control it.

Yoav Benjamini, Daniel Yekutieli, and Ruth Heller, all from Tel Aviv University, will receive the prize, with 70% going to Benjamini and 15% each to Yekutieli and Heller. The jury also posthumously recognised the contributions of Yosef Hochberg, who passed away before the prize announcement.
