On 15 October 2011 Dr. Martha B. Aliaga passed away.
Martha Aliaga was a well respected member of the ISI and an active member of the ISI Council.
We will all remember Martha as a very warm person with great passion for her work in educational and tutorial activities.
As Director of Education at the American Statistical Association she created the Educational Ambassadorship Program and Census@School in the USA.
The ISI Executive Committee, Director and PO staff wish her family strength with this great loss. We feel privileged to have known Martha.
