Giovanni D'Alessio

Giovanni D’Alessio was a Lead Statistician at the World Bank’s Center for Development Data (C4D2), where he coordinated the work of researchers developing the Guidelines for Measuring Wealth in Household Surveys in Low- and Middle-Income Countries. He was Head of the Sample Survey Division of the Economics and Statistics Department at the Bank of Italy for 15 years. He has written extensively on wealth, income and inequality. He has a PhD in Methodological Statistics from the Sapienza University of Rome.
