Dr. Nur is of the Mathematics Department, Faculty of Science and Technology Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia. She is a dedicated lecturer in Statistics in the Bachelors Study Program and head/coordinator of the Mathematics Masters Study Program, Universitas Airlangga.

She is constantly contributing to Indonesia growth as head of Statistical Modelling in Life Sciences research unit, mainly focusing on multi-response nonparametric and semiparametric regression, local linear estimator, and local polynomial regression.

She obtained a Statistics Doctorate from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh in 2014 with a Dissertation titled “Local Polynomial Estimator in Multi-response Nonparametric Regression".

She initially bagged a Statistics Master’s degree from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh and a Mathematics Bachelors from the Universitas Airlangga, her thesis was on Kernel Estimator in Semiparametric Regression Model and on the solution of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon wave equation respectively.

Dr. Chamidah had been involved in over 21 funded researches, published over 56 journal articles both as co-author and author, presented over 16 oral seminars both locally and internationally, published two books in her area of research and have many awards to her credit.
