ABSTRACT: In this webinar we shall briefly introduce Machine, learning as it relates to the Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network with emphasis on the development of a Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network Model for Predicting Type 2 Diabetes in Python environment with some aspects of Model Performance Evaluation, Summary and Concluding remarks.

About the instructor

Dr. Eng. Norma Latif Fitriyani is an Assistant Professor in the department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Sejong University, Seoul, Korea.

Dr. Norma has been an Indonesian researcher, lecturer, and scientist at the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea, since March 2022. She received the bachelor’s degree from Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga at Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2014, the master’s degree from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree from Dongguk University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2021. She served as a guest lecturer at some universities in Indonesia, an invited speaker to some conferences, as well as a guest editor and a reviewer for many peer-reviewed international journals. She has published numerous research articles in several international peer-reviewed journals, including IEEE Access, Food Control, Sensors, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, and Sustainability. Her research interests include health informatics, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and pattern recognition.
