A reminder that the 2025 IAOS Young Statisticians Prize competition is closing soon, with the deadline for manuscript submissions set for 21 February 2025. If you’re working on a paper, now is the time to finalize it.
The competition offers awards for first, second, and third place, as well as a special prize for the Best Paper from a Lower or Middle-Income Country. Winning entries will be published in the SJIAOS journal, accompanied by cash prizes and potential opportunities to present at an ISI/IAOS conference.
Even for those who don’t win, participation can still be beneficial. Many statistical offices recognise the submitted papers, which highlights the role of young statisticians in the field. Additionally, the competition provides valuable experience and exposure, judged by a panel of renowned statisticians.
