Global ISI Events
The International Statistical Institute hosts two major recurring events: the ISI World Statistics Congress, held every two years as the organisation’s flagship global gathering featuring a full scientific, social, cultural and administrative programme; and the ISI Regional Statistics Conference, organised in alternating years with a regional focus to highlight statistical developments and priorities within specific parts of the world. While the World Statistics Congress brings together the worldwide statistical community on a large international stage, the Regional Statistics Conference offers a more regionally tailored environment for exchange, learning and collaboration. Together, these events support the ISI’s mission to create a better world through statistics and data science.
