Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry has just published a Special Issue on New Frontiers in Reliability and Risk Analysis: A Tribute to Nozer Darabsha Singpurwalla. The Special Issue honours Nozer D. Singpurwalla’s scholarly work and achievements. It contains 17 papers, four of which are based on talks presented at the two-day conference New Frontiers in Reliability and Risk Analysis, held on 13–14 October 2023 at The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
The conference, dedicated to Nozer, brought together leading experts and early-career researchers in the fields where he made major contributions—namely, reliability, risk analysis, and Bayesian statistics. The Special Issue includes contributions on these topics from Nozer’s friends, colleagues, and other researchers.
