The International Statistical Institute invites nominations for a new Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Statistical Review (ISR).
The International Statistical Review is the flagship journal of the International Statistical Institute and its family of Associations. Published by Wiley, the journal has a broad scope in statistics and probability, with articles contributed by researchers and practitioners in academia, government, business, and industry. The term "Review" is interpreted broadly to encompass diverse perspectives and approaches in statistical and data science. The journal also publishes interviews with people who have made prominent contributions to applications, research, education, and the development of the profession.
The journal operates under the leadership of two Co-Editors-in-Chief. The current search is to replace Professor Marianthi Markatou, whose term concludes at the end of 2025. The incoming Co-Editor-in-Chief will serve a four-year term.
We seek world-renowned leaders in statistics and probability with a solid record of editorial experience and a compelling vision for both the journal and the field. Nominees must be current ISI members.
Please send nominations to Professor Hao Helen Zhang, Chair of the ISI Publications Committee, at haozhang@arizona.edu.
Each nomination should include the nominee's name, contact information, and a link to their CV highlighting their research background, organisational experience, and editorial expertise.
The deadline for nominations is 10 September 2025.
