Teresita Terán is declared a Distinguished Citizen of the city of Rosario, Argentina, for her contribution to statistics education
Teresita Terán is a former International Association for Statistical Education (IASE) Vice President (2017-2020) and the Local Organizer Committee Chair of the International Congress on Teaching Statistics (ICOTS) 11 held in 2022 in Rosario, Argentina. She is also the representative for Argentina on the Committee for Women of the International Statistical Institute (ISI).
