As part of the lead-up to the 65th World Statistics Congress, the International Association of Survey Statisticians is proud to announce two major satellite conferences taking place in Italy in July 2025. These events will bring together international experts, researchers, and practitioners in survey methodology, small area estimation, and official statistics.
ITACOSM2025: 9th Italian Conference on Survey Methodology

The 9th Italian Conference on Survey Methodology (ITACOSM2025) will serve as an IASS Satellite Conference, hosted by the University of Bologna. It will provide a vibrant forum for the discussion of recent developments in survey statistics and methodology.

SAE2025: International Conference on Small Area Estimation, Surveys and Data Science
Dates: 7-11 July, 2025

The SAE2025 conference will focus on methodological advances and practical applications in small area estimation, survey methods, and data science. The event is co-sponsored by the IASS and the International Association of Official Statistics.
This edition will feature keynote presentations from:
