Rod Little

Rod Little is Richard D. Remington Distinguished University Professor of Biostatistics Emeritus at the University of Michigan, where he also holds emeritus appointments in the Department of Statistics and the Institute for Social Research. From 2010-2012 he was the inaugural Associate Director for Research and Methodology and Chief Scientist at the U.S. Census Bureau.

Workshops

The ISI Academy organises workshops designed to provide concentrated and interactive engagement on specialised topics in statistics, data science, leadership, and institutional development.

QA FrWork

In partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the ISI Academy is developing a comprehensive training programme to strengthen quality assurance in official statistics.

Aligned with FAO’s Statistics and Data Quality Assurance Framework (SDQAF), the initiative supports consistent standards and enhanced data quality across FAO’s statistical activities. The programme is designed for FAO staff engaged in statistical production and data management.

Funded by the International Statistical Study Fund Foundation (SISSF), the ISI Academy supports the establishment and strengthening of National Statistical Associations in Africa, beginning with Burundi.
