The International Statistical Institute offers members and statistical professionals access to current and upcoming events, courses and webinars, alongside a curated library of past content, to support continuous learning and professional growth. Most activities are organised and hosted by ISI associations, committees and partners, with additional regional webinars and ISI Academy webinars hosted by the ISI.

Workshops
The ISI Academy organises workshops designed to provide concentrated and interactive engagement on specialised topics in statistics, data science, leadership, and institutional development.
Building on the ISI’s longstanding experience, workshops have addressed both advanced statistical methodologies and high-level institutional themes such as leadership, governance, and innovation in statistical systems.
Dr. Anders Holmberg
Dr. Anders Holmberg is the Chief Methodologist/General Manager of the Methodology and Data Science Division at the Australian Bureau of Statistics since September 2019. He has a PhD in Statistics about model assisted survey planning, and a background working with various types of data sources for official statistics in many different countries including Sweden, Cambodia, New Zealand and Norway. He has been a member of Eurostat's Directors of Methodology group and is still a member of the Methodology Advisory boards of Statistics Netherlands and Statistics Sweden.
