The International Statistical Institute offers members and statistical professionals access to current and upcoming events, courses and webinars, alongside a curated library of past content, to support continuous learning and professional growth. Most activities are organised and hosted by ISI associations, committees and partners, with additional regional webinars and ISI Academy webinars hosted by the ISI.
Webinars
Professor Arup Bose, an Indian citizen born in 1959, obtained his Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees from the Indian Statistical Institute. After spending four years as an Assistant Professor at Purdue University, in 1991 he joined his alma mater as an Associate Professor. He became a Full Professor in 1995, and moved to its newest grade (HAG) when it was introduced in 2011. He has taken up occasional visiting positions abroad.
Natalie Shlomo
Natalie Shlomo is Professor Emerita of Social Statistics at the University of Manchester. Her main areas of interest are in topics related to survey statistics and survey methodology. She has over 80 publications and refereed book chapters and a track record of generating external funding for her research.
