Simon Richard Griffiths

Simon Richard Griffiths is a British mathematician and professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), where he has taught and conducted research since 2016. He earned his PhD from the University of Cambridge and completed several postdoctoral fellowships at institutions including IMPA (Brazil), the University of Montreal, McGill University (Canada), and the University of Oxford. Griffiths’ research focuses on combinatorics and probability, particularly in problems related to graph theory and Ramsey theory.
